4th Annual OgunquitFest

Friday, October 19th

Ghostly Tours         6:30 & 7:30   A Ghostly through the streets of Ogunquit! Tours conducted by Friends of the Winn House. Tours originate at the Winn House, 86 Obeds Lane, Ogunquit, Maine. Adults $5.00, children under 10 free. Refreshments served

Bats in the Belfry Bonfire     9:oo pm   Ogunquit Beach

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

Kidstown Carnival     9:00 - 5:00   In the parking lot across from Ogunquit Resort Motel, 724 Main Street, Ogunquit, Maine. Train ride, swing ride, play area, bounce ride, games & traditional carnival food.

Monster Mall Marketplace  10:00 - 4:00   Ogunquit Dunaway Center. Crafts, artists and local retailers.

Horse Drawn Wagon Rides   10:00 - 4:00. Rides originate at Veteran’s Park, Corner of Beach and Main Street. $5.00 per person

Great Pumpkin Patch Celebration   10:00 - 12:00   Upstairs at the Ogunquit Firehouse. A Fall delight for kids of all ages. Pumpkins, markers, paints, stickers, etc.  All parents will receive a Childprint ID kit. Sponsored by Raspberri’s Restaurant, Gorges Grant Hotel, Juniper Hill Inn & The Milestone

Kidz Zone   11:00 - 3:00  Dunaway Center, Ogunquit, Maine. Ring toss, face painting, temporary tattoos.  Sponsored by Raspberri’s Restaurant, Gorges Grant Motel, Juniper Hill Inn & The Milestone

Kids’ Treasure Hunt  1:00 pm     Appropriate for ages 7-12. Follow clues throughout town to find the treasure. All children will win a prize and all parents receive a ChildPrint ID kit.Registration at the Norseman Resort. $5.00 per Team.

Treasure Hunt    1:30 pm    Appropriate for ages 13+. Follow clues throughout town to find hidden treasure. Registration at the Norseman, $5.00 per team.

Children’s Fall Story Telling   3:00 - 4:00 pm. Upstairs at the Ogunquit Firehouse. Listen to local storyteller Diana Abbott tell tales of spooks and haunted happenings.

Scavenger Hunt       10:00 am , The Milestone, 687 Main Street, Ogunquit, Maine. Appropriate for children up to 6 years. Find a variety of nature items from a list. $1.00 per child. All children will win a prize and all parents will receive a ChildPrint ID kit. Sponsored by Raspberri’s Restaurant, Gorges Grant Hotel, Juniper Hill Inn & The Milestone.

Graveyard Golf     11:00 am, Footbridge Beach. Miniature 9 hole golf for adults on the beach! Bring your putter, prizes awarded, $5.00 per Person.

Costume Parade   11:30 - 12:30. Costumed kids, adults and canines welcome! ( Weather permitting. Rain location upstairs at the Ogunquit Fire-station- sorry no dogs allowed.) Registration begins at 10:30.

Post Parade Reception     12:30 pm, The Win House. Treats will be available for parade participants. Rain location is the Ogunquit Fire-station, no pets allowed.

Pawsitively Ogunquit Grand Adoption Auction    6:00 pm  Ogunquit Playhouse, Ogunquit, Maine. The culmination of a year long art project. 16 of the artistically painted animals will find a Permanent home. Reception at 6:00 pm, auction at 6:30. Tickets are $25 each.
