My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Angelina's. We had a eggplant tower for an appetizer, i had the veal marsala and my husband had the filet mignon. The server did a great job, always attentive. Would definately return and tell all our freinds. This place has to be one of the best dining option in town for value and quality.

Spent the weekend in Ogunquit, and had dinner at Angelina's. Food was as good as i remember eating in Italy. The Service was OUTSTANDING we got everything we needed. The only complaint i had was we had to wait for table a little bit longer than i was quoted, we were told 15 mins, but it was more like 25 mins. We had drinks at the bar so it was fine. The server gave us a card on the way out and suggested we make reservations next time so we wouldnt have to wait. Would definately go back!!!

well i was just checking in the see if my review had posted i happen to read another review about the owner not being Italian, that he is mexican or Puertorican, i met the owner david that night, and even has his business card his last name is Giarusso and he is Italian, and by the way, we never felt rushed at all. I have to wonder if these reviews are true and not just someone trying to sabatoage his business.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Angelina's. We were a little skeptical of trying because of the negative reviews on here, but the hotel highly recommends them. I am so glad we did, we actually ate there 2 out of the 5 nights we stayed. Everything including the service was outstanding and we will return on our next visit to Ogunquit.

I would rather say it is fast food restaurant, once it comes to the bill they want you out ASAP. The owner is no Italian. He's Puertorican or Mexican. Food is ok, service depends on the mood of the staff.

On August 15,2008,my husband, myself, and three of our friends had 7:30 dinner reservations on the patio. It being my birthday, we were all looking forward to a memorable evening. We awaited the arrival of our friends in the bar area. The slow and poor attitude of the bartender should have been taken as an omen of things to come. We were told several times our table would be ready-only to see it being given away! We finally sat down one hour and fifteen minutes late. Two of the waiters were arguing as to who was going to take our order. Finally we ordered. Twice, the wrong dinner came out for our friend!
The rest of us had finished our dinner twenty minutes ago. Though the majority of our dinners were good, the service was horrible! From the maitre'd, to the bartender, to our waiter, it certainly proved to be a night to remember!! Nothing short of an "I don't care attitude" was displayed by all the personnel that night. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone else!!

We had a very unsettling experience at Angelina's last night. When we arrived promptly at 7 for our confirmed reservation, we were told it would be a 15 minute wait. We stood (no seats available) in the bar for 45 minutes. When we inquired from the manager how much longer of a wait to expect, he became very loud and insulting. The extremely rude reaction of the manager was shocking. He completely over-reacted and told us we would not be eating there that night and crossed our names off the list. We had no choice but to leave. This was unneccesary and extreme. Obviously this restaurant cares nothing about their customers. They overbook knowing that in the summer they will have a full house and show no regard for individual customers. Stay away.

My girlfriend and I had a terrible experience at this place. Unfortunately, it was her birthday and I was taking her out to dinner to celebrate. The food was overpriced, mediocre in quality and the service was slow. To top it off, the owner (David P. Giarusso Jr.) angrily complained that we did not tip his waiter enough, loudly called us cheapskates and caused quite a commotion in front of the other customers and his staff. He completely ruined her birthday dinner. Needless to say, we will never return.

We had dinner at Angelina's the other night. We were recommened by of our hotel this summer, and now this is our 4th time dining there. We have to say that this is the best Italian food in the area, and we come from Hartford, CT and there are lots of great Italian restaurants. The food and service were both great. My wife had a stuffed chicken breast and I had a steak with sauteed garlic spinach on top. We will continue to go....the staff is wonderful.

My husband and I had dinner with some freinds who live in Ogunquit. They suggested we have dinner at Angelina's. We went on a Saturday night, Martin Luther King weekend. The place was packed, and we didnt have a reservation. We were asked if we wouldnt mind going to the bar and having a cocktail while we waited and that it would be about 20 mins. We had a great experience with the bartender who was clearly busy but made sure he had time to chat with everyone, and i have to say, he made the best Cosmo i ever had. We were seated 30 mins later and the host was very gracious getting us to a table. I have to agree with one of the comments above about the food being as close to the north end in boston, and they are right. The food was amazing!! We usually go to another Italian restaurant in the area and we were glad they were closed and got to try Angelina's. I never take time to write a review, but i just cant belive the negative press this restaurant was getting. The service, food quality, cocktails, for us more than met our expectations and we will continue to dine there. I hope your experience was as wonderful as ours and you should most definately give them a try.
