Sanford’s Independence Day Celebration on July 4th
7/4/2007, Seminole Boulevard (from 17-92 to Mellonville Avenue) and San Juan Avenue (from Seminole Blvd to 1st Street) in addition to surrounding entry roads as deemed necessary for the public’s safety, will be closed from 5 AM - 11 PM. Mellonville Avenue, from 1st Street to 13th Street, will be one-way traffic heading south during the hours of 8 PM to Midnight.
Celebrate America the Beautiful’s Birthday! Bring a blanket or chairs for your whole family to enjoy live music while the kids romp in the Kids Zone on the breezy, beautiful River Walk in Sanford. Just after sundown, a fireworks display will be presented by the pyrotechnic experts at Zambelli International and simulcasted on MAGIC 107.7FM.
